Authentic Studio Sound in Your Living Space
The JBL 4367 features advanced technologies derived from JBL's professional equipment used in studios around the world. Equipped with a 15-inch (380mm) Pure Pulp cone woofer and JBL's iconic D2 compression driver, this loudspeaker offers a dynamic range that captures even the subtlest nuances in your music. From the deep, resonant bass to the crisp, clear highs, every note is reproduced with astonishing clarity and depth.
Timeless Design with Modern Acoustics
During the 1950s and 1960s, JBL primarily developed 2-way systems that combined a 30.48 cm (12") or 38.1 cm (15") woofer with a large-format compression driver/horn. The 4367 harks back to that era, featuring a similar acclaimed design with a single crossover point strategically placed outside the most sensitive human hearing range. Despite its apparent simplicity, this design optimizes acoustic performance with a compact and symmetrical setup, ensuring focused sound and excellent off-axis energy control.
The speakers are encased in a traditional JBL Studio Monitor series cabinet, showcasing a sleek, professional appearance. The robust cabinet is constructed with 25.4 mm (1”) thick MDF walls and an additional 15.875 mm (5/8”) surface baffle under the horn, totalling 41.275 mm (1-5/8") in thickness for solid, vibration-resistant support. Structural integrity is bolstered by two different braces linking the vertical panels. Available in either furniture-grade walnut or black walnut wood veneer, the cabinet features bevelled front edges.
Although it is a two-way system, the 4367 includes innovative front-mounted controls for adjusting high-frequency and ultra-high-frequency levels. It also offers gold-plated rear connections for bi-amplification or bi-wiring, with sturdy jumper wires for single-amplifier setups. The woofer’s natural roll-off is enhanced by two 101.6 mm (4") dual-flared ports at the front for added bass impact. The grille is designed to be rigid yet minimally impactful on sound, and is easily removable. The speaker stands on four discreet, black-chrome-plated brass feet, designed to protect delicate floors.

Reviews:
Stereophile review "Unlike most contemporary audiophile speakers, the JBLs are at home with anything from solo harpsichord to the loudest EDM single. When called upon to do so, they can play back music at sound levels that rival a live performance "
Home Theatre HiFi review - "
The JBL 4367’s are exceptional loudspeakers that are truly a triumph of engineering. They push the envelope and show what can be done with the traditional two-way speaker format when you have a good design, even better drivers and a big enough box with a pair of extra holes punched in it. The highly-advanced drivers have excellent efficiency and impeccably low distortion. The specially designed waveguide helps to ensure a wide and deep sound stage and all together give this speaker a large dynamic reservoir to facilitate its lighting up a room with sound.
