From this discrete 'chimney', robust bass frequencies will seamlessly blend with the clean midrange and highs of the surrounding CLG140/CLG160 satellites, resulting in dynamic and articulate full-range garden audio.
The CLG-W12 subwoofer can be efficiently powered by a single amplifier channel at 4 ohms. For cable runs exceeding 10 meters (30 feet) and for integrating multiple subwoofers into the system, the 70/100 V line option is recommended. In this setup, the CLG140/CLG160 satellites are connected in a daisy-chain configuration to the CLG-W12, with up to a maximum of twelve satellites per subwoofer. Expanding the system for larger garden spaces involves simply adding more amplifier channels, subwoofers, and satellites.
In basic setups, satellites are linked in a mono configuration to one amplifier channel, while the other channel powers the subwoofer. Employing a stereo power amplifier with 70/100-volt line capability and crossover features enables fine-tuning of bass and mid-high range levels. Alternatively, the system can be designed for stereo operation by incorporating additional elements to create left/right zones.
Once installed, the Climate Garden System delivers a smooth, expansive, and controlled frequency response from 30 Hz to 30 kHz within the specified environment, surpassing the performance of many home audio systems. For patio or deck applications, the CLG-W12 can be integrated into a planter box, enhancing Monitor Audio’s CL Series all-weather cabinet speakers with deep bass frequencies and offering custom installers more design flexibility.
